About me
Discover Jon Snapaway: The Person Behind the Camera
I’m Jon, a wedding photographer based in Kent.
My approach is simple. I document the day as it happens, without turning it into a photoshoot. No awkward posing, no constant interruptions, just real moments as they naturally unfold.
Most of the day I stay in the background, keeping things relaxed and letting you get on with it. If needed, I’ll step in to keep things on track, but always in a calm, low key way. Couples often say they felt completely at ease, which is exactly how it should be.
I’ve been photographing weddings for years, including my time with Blushing Bride Photography, and that experience means I know when to step back and when to take control. It’s about reading the room and keeping things flowing without adding pressure.
I keep editing clean and natural. No heavy filters or trends, just consistent, timeless images that reflect how the day actually looked and felt.

Wedding planning is hectic enough but once we had hired Jon he took that whole aspect off our hands. His years of experience really shows. He just took the reins and told me what he was going to do and I just let him get on with it… he was fab! He organized all our shots, even telling me photo ideas that I hadn’t even thought of. It was at that point I just let him lead the way! Super easy to work with and 100% professional. Just let Jon deal with it and you won’t regret it. The Perfect day captured by the best Photographer
Jon was great from the get-go, from the moment we engaged his services he was incredibly responsive and answered any questions we had (and I did have a few!!). My husband isn't a fan of photos, but Jon instantly put him at ease and explained his photography style and approach, which was spot on for us as a couple.
The Wedding day arrived, and Jon was there in the morning to capture some shots, and he also stayed throughout the evening to capture our dance and some last photos of us and the guests. It was a long day for Jon and us and our guests could see how hard he worked, and we are incredibly grateful that we found Jon.
