Agreement and Booking

 

Please read the Terms and Conditions below carefully.

 

By clicking “I Have Read and Agree to the Terms and Conditions” you confirm that you understand and accept the terms outlined below.

You can then proceed to the booking form to secure your event date.

 

A booking is confirmed once the booking form has been completed and the booking fee has been received.

 

 

1. Booking

 

A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your event date. Your date is not confirmed until the booking fee has been received.

The booking fee is deducted from the total package price.

Jon Snapaway Photography reserves the right to decline any booking prior to receipt of the booking fee.

 

 

2. Payment

 

The remaining balance must be paid no later than 4 weeks before the event date.

If the balance is not received by the due date, Jon Snapaway Photography reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain the booking fee.

 

 

3. Coverage

 

Photography and videography are delivered in a natural documentary style, capturing real moments as they happen.

While every effort is made to capture all important moments, specific images or poses cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of live events and circumstances beyond control.

 

 

4. Image Delivery

 

A small preview may be delivered within 48 hours of the event.

Final edited images will normally be delivered within 6 weeks via a private online gallery.

The number of images delivered may vary depending on the length and nature of the event.

 

 

5. Copyright and Use

 

Jon Snapaway Photography retains full copyright of all images and video.

Clients receive a personal licence to download, print and share their images for personal use.

Images must not be edited, sold or used commercially without written permission.

Jon Snapaway Photography may use images for portfolio, website and promotional purposes unless requested otherwise.

 

 

6. Client Cancellation

 

If the client cancels within 3 months of the event date, 50% of the remaining balance is payable.

If the client cancels more than 3 months before the event date, no further payment is required beyond the booking fee.

 

 

7. Photographer Cancellation

 

In the unlikely event that Jon Snapaway Photography is unable to attend due to illness or circumstances beyond control, all payments made will be fully refunded.

Every reasonable effort will be made to arrange a replacement photographer of similar style and experience where possible.

 

 

8. Liability

 

All reasonable care is taken to provide professional photography services. However, Jon Snapaway Photography cannot be held responsible for delays, missed coverage,

or inability to attend due to circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the client.

 

 

9. Editing

 

Images are edited in the photographer’s professional style. Raw files are not provided.

 

 

10. Equipment

 

Professional equipment is used and reasonable backup precautions are taken. In the unlikely event of total equipment failure, liability is limited to a full refund of all payments made.

11. Client Cooperation

​

Clients agree to provide accurate information and cooperate with the photographer. Jon Snapaway Photography is not responsible for missed images due to late arrivals,

schedule changes or lack of cooperation.

12. Data Protection

 

Client information is used solely for providing photography services and handled in accordance with UK data protection laws.

Client data is never sold or shared with third parties.
